Product Description
Type | Vintage mechanical pencil working well |
Product Name | Unknown .... they made many different versions with different patterns |
Manufacturer and Year | Wahl Eversharp - circa 1920s or possibly 1930s |
Length | 4-1/4" |
Filling System | Takes 1.1mm (aka "Thick") leads and extends lead in the traditional twist method, to retract lead you have to push it back in. We will include a packet of leads. |
Color | Gold filled with the tip of the cone plated in nickel or chrome. The pattern is interesting . . . it's lined, with tiny oblong hexagons making up a wavy pattern, it sort of shimmers when you turn it in the light (our photos don't do it justice). |
Condition | Very nice condition. There appears to be very little pitting to the finish at all, although there are some small scratches in the barrel (the largest one is shown in the photos below), and the tip of the cone has some damage. Also, there's a very small dent in the side of the top piece. It's engraved with "JAL." Despite its minor flaws, this pencil looks beautiful. |
