Product Description
Type Lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Unknown. This is a large full sized pen shaped like the long slender Equi-poised Wahls.
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Oxford (a Wahl-Eversharp sub-brand), made in USA -- 1930s.
Length 5-1/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Green and bronze marbled cap and barrel with gold plated trim, thin double cap bands, and the earlier style clip which is attached just above the halfway point on the cap.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Wahl Oxford 2 nib is smooth with lovely tipping material. It's got more flex than what we would call semi-flex, but is not fully flexible. It gives easy line variation from medium to nice broad under just light pressure. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There's some subtle plating wear on the lever and the clip, and a few very small light scratches on the cap and barrel. The imprint is very crips and readable, and the color is lovely, it doesn't look like it has faded at all. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
