Manufacturer and Year Wahl Oxford (a Wahl-Eversharp sub-brand). This is an early model, probably from the 1930s. This is the Junior model.
Length The pen is just under 4-1/2"; the pencil is 4-5/8"
Filling System The fountain pen is a lever filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac. The pencil takes 1.1mm leads.
Color Black with gold plated trim. .
Nib 14k gold #3 flexible Wahl nib. See writing sample below. Not dramatic flex, but you get good line variation from extra fine to medium.
Condition Superior condition. Both the pen and pencil have light wear only. The pen has capping marks and a few short scratches or toolmarks on the section. The clip on the pen has some plating wear. The lever has good plating. The tip on the pencil has some moderate scratching. All imprints are crystal clear. The set comes in a grey cardboard box with a mottled gold pattern. There are no cracks, serious scratches, dents, dings, or personalization.
