Manufacturer and Year Wahl, USA - late 1920s.
Length 4-3/8" long capped, excluding ringtop hardware. With the cap posted, the resulting length is 5-3/8".
Filling System Lever filler, restored with a new sac.
Color Coral colored celluloid with gold-filled trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM, 14k nib, marked "Signature". Flexes with a little pressure and gives line variation from medium to double-broad, so it is not dramatic but very pleasing. See writing sample.
Condition Excellent condition. The jade color is consistent and still fairly bright. There is light handwear and scratching on the barrel and cap. The lever bar has some brassing, mostly along the edges. The cap bands and the band near the top of the cap have plating wear along the edges. The cap lip is very clean, no cracks or chips. The imprints are clear.
The barrel is personalized with a name: "Genevieve Shrake" (? - we're unclear about the first letter of the last name)
