Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully.
Product Name Model 0552 1/2 (version of the 52 in a gold filled finish and slender barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - circa 1920s
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We've replaced the bladder and it's working very well.)
Color 18k gold filled finish in what they called the "Sheraton" design. The section and end of barrel is black hard rubber.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE. The nib is marked Waterman's Reg US Pat Off 2. Flexible nib writes from fine to a double broad. Very close to what we would call full flex, but everyone has their own ideas of terms for flex, so please refer to this pen's writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with only light signs of use. There's wear and a few small dings the top edge of the cap, and a shallow impression on the cap, but otherwise the pen shows very little plating wear or brassing. No cracks in the hard rubber components.
