Condition Excellent condition. The gold filigree on the cap looks good with just some light scratching. About 3/4" down the barrel there is a small bulge in the gold. We suspect that at some point, the hard rubber barrel was removed and either repaired or replaced. Then when the gold overlay was restored, a weak spot buckled, leaving a subtle ridge in a ring around the pen. It's fairly well flattened out, but still noticeable if you look closely. The lined end of the barrel has some plating wear, caused by posting. The hard rubber under the gold filigree is slightly faded, which is common for these pens. The section is solid dark black and quite clean. No cracks, dents, dings, or serious scratches. The imprint designating the model number is fairly clear, but the one indicating the manufacturer and location is quite faded. The barrel is also engraved, which you can see in the pictures below; we've had extensive discussions around the office and can't decide exactly what it indicates!
