Product Name Model 0552 1/2 L.E.C. (version of the 52 in a gold filled finish and slender barrel). L.E.C. stands for "lower end covered," meaning the end of the barrel was fully covered with metal.

Color Gold filled finish in an 18k checkered design. The section is black hard rubber. The barrel has a personalization: "L.W.C.".
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal New York #2 nib. Very soft feeling, line variation from medium to double broad and nicely wet. Please see writing sample in photos.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a slim, golden, shiny pen that looks fantastic. The cap and barrel have very light scratching. The lever looks great. The clip has just a thin line of plating wear along the top edge. The top rim of the cap has some plating wear and a bit of pitting along the edge. The barrel has a personalization, "L.W.C.". The imprints are clear.
