Filling System Lever filler (We have restored the bladder and it works very well.)
Color All engraved gold fill, over hard rubber (the hard rubber is only seen on the section and barrel lip). The barrel and cap are covered with slender panels that are smooth and shiny, alternatiing with engraved panels with the floral (leaf and stem) design.
Nib The nib is marked Waterman Ideal New York#2. The range is F to double broad. It has a good amount of flex, but not super flex or a not a wet noodle. This is one we consider full flex. Please see writing sample.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks or chips or dents. No brassing except on the end of the barrel. A few tiny marks and a little wear, but otherwise excellent condition overall. There's a little wear on the end of the barrel caused by posting the cap.
This pen writes very smoothly with a good amount of flex. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
