Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it here at PSP with a new sac. It's working perfectly.
Color Gold filled overlay of stylized leaves. The underside of the lever is marked 18kt Gold Filled. The gold filling is over hard rubber as can be seen on the section and upper barrel. The black has lightened to a brown that goes well with the gold.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM Waterman's Ideal New York gold nib is very smooth with excellent tipping. You get easy line variation with minimal pressure. See our writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The end of the barrel is brassed and looks a bit reddish but otherwise, the patterning in the overlay is fantastic with uninterrupted gold to the naked eye. The lever and cap imprints are clear. There are no dents. The black hard rubber is a dark brown. No cracks, chips, or personalization. Some scratches here and there. Fully restored and working well.
