Product Name Marked 0552 1/2 V on the end of the barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1920s
Length 3-3/4" not counting ring hardware.
Filling System Lever filler. Restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color Gold plated or filled filigree similar to the basketweave filigree, over hard rubber.
Nib FULL FLEX FINE. Waterman's Ideal New York #2 nib with nice tipping. It flexes easily from fine to double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Superior, excellent condition. There's hardly any wear on the gold filigree, with no dings, dents, or big scratches. No cracks or chips. The hard rubber beneath the filigree is showing just the very early signs of discoloration, and the section is in nearly perfect condition. The cap posts snugly on the end of the barrel, though naturally posting it will wear the plating away. This is really a gorgeous piece, with a nib that is just a pleasure to write with.
