Type Vintage pen and mechanical pencil set which works beautifully. This version of the 52 was a ladies pen with a gold filled barrel and cap, and lined pattern called "Sheraton" pattern.

Length The fountain pen is 3-1/2" long with the cap on, and 4-13/16" with the cap posted. The pencil is 4" long. All of these measurements exclude the ringtop hardware.
Filling System The fountain pen is a lever filler. We have replaced the sac and it works very well. The pencil takes 0.9mm leads, which extend and retract by holding the section and cone and twisting the upper part of the pencil.
Color Both pieces have a black smooth hard rubber section, and the rest of the surfaces are covered with gold. The overlay has a pattern of grouped lines that Waterman called "Sheraton".
Nib The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal. Smooth and a bit springy, just semi-flex with very minor line variation. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition for this petite set. The fountain pen looks really good, with no dents or dings. There are a couple of spots of plating loss, mostly in the lines near the cap's breather holes. There is light handwear and scratching all over. The ringtop hardware is solid. The pencil looks really great. No dents or dings, or brassing or plating loss. Both pieces are personalized with "Ann from Charlie". The imprints are clear.
