Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a desireable fully flexible nib
Product Name Model 0852 V (marked in red on the end of the pen barrel). The "V" models were short but full girth. This particular pen does not have a clip, nor does it have any of the tell-tale holes indicating it once had a clip. It also does not have a place for the ring top hardware to screw in, so this was a rather unique vest pocket model.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA - circa 1925
Length 4-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold plated trim. The cap band is 1/2" wide with no engraving.
Nib FULL FLEX FINE, very smooth and fun to write with. Not a wet noodle, but better than ordinary flex. Line variation from fine to double broad with very little pressure.
Condition Excellent. No personalization or brassing on the wide band, though you can see the seam where it was joined. No brassing except on the lever box. Please note that we reduced the cap lip by about 1/8" to eliminate a chip, but it is very smooth and looks great.
