Filling System Eyedropper filling system. We've cleaned and tested it, it's working very well. We'll include an eyedropper kit and instructions on filling this pen.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR). As produced, this pen has no clip.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE gold nib is marked "Waterman's Ideal New York." It looks a bit large in the slender section, but the #2 nib is the correct size based on the barrel imprint. We consider it almost fully flexible, but not a wet noodle or super flex. The tines spread easily for good line variation and an almost extra-fine point. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. The black has discolored but it is very even and matches well with the chasing. The area beneath the cap is the original black. There is one ding on the cap and a few marks on the barrel but it really looks mostly unused. No cracks, chips, dents, or scratches. The pen has been cleaned and tested and is working very well. The imprints are faded but still legible.
