Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen with a flexible nib, restored and working well.
Product Name Model 12 1/2 V PSF (marked on the end of the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- circa 1920.
Length 4-1/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold filled lever and a wide cap band with floral engraving. No ring hardware on the top, but there's no hole to indicate it ever had a ring, so it must have been a vest pocket model.
Nib Waterman's Ideal New York gold nib is a fine with good tipping material. Fully flexible. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There is no brassing on the cap band or lever, though there is some on the box in which the lever rests. The imprint on the barrel is very clear and crisp (see pic). We've fully restored the pen and it's working very well.
