Filling System Eyedropper filling system. We've cleaned and tested it, it's working very well. We'll include an eyedropper kit and instructions on filling this pen.
Color Black chased hard rubber covered with sterling silver filigree. This looks like one of the early filigree patterns.
Nib Flexible MEDIUM gold nib is marked "Waterman's Ideal." Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. The major flaw is that there are a few big cracks in the hard rubber under the filigree on the cap (see photos) and we have priced the pen with this in mind. This is an ornate and elegant vintage fountain pen. The black hard rubber has faded to a dark brown. You can see the original black on the section. The sterling filigree has wear and light scratching and small marks throughout. The barrel is personalized, "Alberta" and the top of the cap has initials "AR". There are imprints in various places on the silver; some are readable and some are visible but unclear or spotty.
