Color Black chased hard rubber covered with sterling silver floral filigree.
Nib ITALIC MEDIUM gold nib is marked "Waterman's Ideal." The nib has a small crack in it. It is not necessary to flex the nib to get line variation, so the crack should be stable. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. This is an ornate and elegant vintage fountain pen. The black hard rubber has faded to a dark brown. You can see the original black at the top of the section. The sterling filigree has light to moderate scratches, more so on the cap than the barrel. The very top of the cap has small deep scratching and a few dots of pitting. The very top has an indentation. The nib has a small crack. The imprints are clear.
