The cap has very strong chasing with an intact ribbed texture. The barrel though has very faded chasing and almost looks like a plain black barrel in low lighting. The main barrel imprint is clear with little wear. There is a mark on the barrel between the cap and that imprint. The imprint near the end of the barrel is no longer present. The imprint in the end of the barrel is crisp. The pen has been cleaned and tested and is working very well.
