Product Description
Type Vintage pen with eyedropper filling system, which has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 12 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - late 1910s or early 1920s
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Eyedropper (We tested the pen and it works very well.) We will include an eye dropper so you can start using it right away (provided you have some fountain pen ink).
Color Black chased hard rubber with no trim.
Nib The nib is marked Waterman Ideal New York (it's set deeply, and we can't see the number, but it is fair to assume it is a #2). It is nicely flexible with a good ink flow ... and a good amount of tipping material. The line varies from Fine to Broad. (Not full flex, but better than semi-flex.)
Condition Very nice condition, with very dark and crisp chasing. No cracks in the cap. Excellent readable imprints on barrel and barrel end.
There are some tool marks on the section and a few scratches on the end of the barrel from cap posting.
This pen writes nicely with an excellent amount of flex. The ink supply system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
