Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE Ideal New York Nib. There are two short horizontal cracks off the breather hole, but they are very stable and will only be made worse by over-flexing. Please see writing sample.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, shiny safety pen in a classic design. The chasing is most visible on the cap. Much of the barrel chasing has faded out. The color has faded to a dark chocolate brown. The original black can be seen under the cap. The barrel has moderate wear with some deep marks that look like they were caused by tools. The barrel has marks from posting. The cap has light scratching. The clip has a little plating wear around the tiny nails and just above the ball end. The barrel imprints have some fading but are readable. The cap imprint is clear. The 12 S at the end of the barrel is clear.
