Product Name Model 16 S, marked on the end of the barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1920s
Length 5-9/16"
Filling System This is a safety pen. It's been thoroughly restored and tested, with new seals.
Color Black smooth hard rubber. Small nickel-plated clip.
Nib FINE #6 Waterman's Ideal New York semi-flex nib. Very smooth and springy, with only minor line variation.
Condition Excellent + condition. The hard rubber is a bit faded, otherwise the pen is just lovely. Some microscratching, but the overall look is quite smooth and shiny. There are some small chips on the edge of the section near the opening, as well as on the side of the section (visible in the photos below), but these do not affect the pen's function. The barrel imprint is worn down in the middle, but still readable. The clip has brassing all over, but is still firmly attached and working well. We cleaned, restored, and fully tested the pen, and it's working very well.
