Nib FULL FLEX XF. Waterman Ideal New York 2. See writing sample. Very good line variation from XF to broad. Very responsive with good springback.
Condition Excellent condition for this long, slim, tapered pen. The barrel has strong chasing. There is a small dot of wear about 1" above the end edge of the barrel. The end piece of the barrel has a chip on the lower edge that extends up onto the end piece itself. The tapered smooth black cap is in excellent condition except for three short but bold scratch lines toward the top of the cap and a few marks in the middle of the cap. The section has heavy capping marks and an area that appears to have been shaved down. This "shaving" affects a small section of the lip of the barrel where it meets the cap. Still, the cap fits well. There are no cracks. The imprints are clear.
