Color Burgundy marble (called claret). The trim is chrome or nickel plated.
Nib The 14K gold nib is marked Waterman's Ideal with a heart shaped cutout. It is very flexible with a good ink flow ... and a lot of tipping material. Fine (between Fine and Medium) point, flexes to double broad. We consider this almost full flex. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition, really nice, used but not abused. No cracks or chips or serious scratches. The plating is worn on the trim on the cap band and clip. The imprints are very good. This pen writes very smoothly. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
