Type Safety pen in excellent working condition
Product Name So called "Baby" version. 42 1/2 V, marked on the end of the barrel. 4 = safety filling system, 2 = nib size, 1/2 = slender, V = short. There was a smaller safety pen made by Waterman, but this is the more common one usually referred to as the "Baby."

Length 3-1/2" capped, 4-11/16" posted. This is an extremely small pen, so please don't purchase it without giving consideration to the size.

Color Black chased hard rubber.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's gold nib. Line variation from fine to broad. There's a crack descending from the breather hole to the top of the "R" in Waterman, but this is stable and will not worsen unless the nib is over-flexed. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a very small, dark pen with chasing still intact. The color has faded somewhat from black to a chocolate brown. The original dark black can be seen on the section area. The barrel has light marks caused by the cap lip. There are some long scratches on the little piece of the barrel that rotates to extend the nib. The imprints are all clear.
