Color Fully engraved sterling silver in a floral pattern.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE IDEAL #2 nib. A little firm, but you can get line variation from fine to broad. Excellent tipping material, very smooth. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There are some small dents around the edges of both ends (sterling silver is soft and dents easily). There are small marks throughout visible under magnification, though they are largely overshadowed by the decorative engraved pattern. One interesting detail is the cartouche - this area would usually have a smooth background, but it's been been engraved with the patterning from the barrel. It also looks like there was something else engraved there, like a building (?), so perhaps the floral pattern was added to obscure the personalization.
