Nib | The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal New York2. The tip is fline with excellent flex, we consider it full flex and verging on the wet noodle. The line varies without much pressure from fine to broad. (See writing sample.) It has very good tipping material. This nib is very wet, so you'll need to experiment with various inks in order to tame it. |
Condition
|
Excellent condition, quite beautiful. We've had 3 model 452 over the last two years, and this is the nicest. No cracks or chips. The clip is excellent with no wiggle. The imprint in the hard rubber is good and readable. This pen writes very smoothly. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year. |
