Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA - circa 1920s
Length 5-7/16"

Color Sterling silver filigree over hard rubber. Black smooth hard rubber end piece and section. The barrel and cap are covered with a cut out basketweave sterling filigree design which has been etched.
Nib FLEXIBLE MEDIUM nib is marked Waterman's 2. We consider it fully flexible, with line variation from medium to a triple broad without too much pressure. The tipping is in nice condition and the nib feels very smooth. (Writing sample below.)
Condition Very nice condition. The only real flaw is that the clip is a bit loose and has some side to side play, and stands nearly an eighth of an inch away from the cap itself. There's some patina, wear, and small scratches in the sterling filigree, but no dents apparent. The hard rubber has discolored a bit . The imprint in the hard rubber is very clear and readable. No personalization or engraving, though there is a smooth part of the filigree designed for engraving. It's quite beautiful despite the wear, and working very well. The nib is fantastic.
