Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal Pink nib with the keyhole breather hole. It's smooth with nice tipping material and it's what we would call fully flexible. it gives easy line variation from fine to a nice large broad under very little pressure, and a large double broad under just a little weight. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There are some light marks and scratches on the cap and barrel, and small spots of brassing on the edges and grooves in the trim. The 5 imprint on the end of the barrel is in excellent shape, and the maker's imprint on the side of the barrel is crisp and readable. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well. There is a small short crack in the end of the barrel, possibly caused when they inserted the "pink" 5 plug in the end of the barrel, which is shown in one of the pictures below. The pen is personalized with the name E. J. HUTCHINSON and CHAMPAIGN ILL.
