Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, 1920s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler (We installed a new sac and it works very well.)
Color Hard rubber with gold filled trim.
Nib FINE, ALMOST FULL FLEX. The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal Reg Pat Off. It is very flexible, not quite full flex. Good tipping material. The line varies from fine to double broad. Writing sample below (sorry for the messy sample!). The nib is in excellent condition with very good tipping material.
Condition Very nice condition, though the hard rubber is oxidized and you can see the original black color where the cap protected the barrel. No cracks or chips aside from a tiny chip on the end of the barrel. We think there was a gold ring on the barrel end to match the one on the cap, but it is missing. The gold ring on the cap has wear but the clip looks very good. The imprints on the barrel are crisp and readable.
Personalized with the name Theo. Henriques.
This pen writes smoothly with a very pleasing amount of flex. The filling system is working well, we re-sac'd it and we'll guarantee it.
