Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the barrel) (5 = Lever Filler; 2 = Nib Size)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - circa 1920s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with nickel plated trim. No clip or ringtop, and no indication that the cap ever had either.
Nib FULL FLEX FINE Waterman's Ideal #2 nib. It's in great condition, smooth, with nice tipping. Excellent flex, we consider it full flex, with easy variation from medium-fine to an impressive double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition for this shiny even-colored pen. The chasing on barrel is worn except toward the end of the barrel where it is more intact. The chasing on the cap is better than the barrel but also shows some wear. The coloration on the cap and barrel is faded to a uniform dark brown. The section has good color and horizontal cappint marks; it looks great. The lever has some plating wear around the edges. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, or scratches. The imprints are clear.
