Filling System It is a lever filler. A new sac has been installed. It's fully restored and working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with nickel plated trim consisting of lever box and Clip-cap clip. Discolored to a dark brown in places.
Nib Medium Italic Semiflexible Waterman's Ideal New York gold nib. The #2 nib writes smoothly with strong line variation when the flex is combined with the italic cut. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition though there is some discoloration. The chasing is strong on the cap and worn on the barrel. The barrel chasing is still visually present but not texturally. Similarly, the color is closer to the original black on the cap than on the barrel. The discoloration is not consistent. The three barrel imprints are very clear and easily read. The trim has some wear but it looks worse in the photos than in hand. No cracks or chips.
