Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - circa 1920s
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Red ripple hard rubber with gold plated trim. The rippling on the barrel is especially neat!
Nib The nib is marked Waterman Ideal 14 KT. It is nicely flexible with a good ink flow ... and good tipping material. We consider it semi-flex. The line varies from fine to broad. Please see writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition, the hard rubber is incredibly smooth to the touch and the color is awesome. There is some brassing on the cap band and the ball the clip. There are scratches and a black mark on the end of the barrel (see photo). The barrel imprint is good. This pen writes very smoothly with a good amount of flex. The filling system is working well, and we'll guarantee it for a year.
