Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully and has a flexible nib.
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1920s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.
Color Red and black hard rubber with gold plated trim. The rippling on the barrel is especially neat, falling somewhere between woodgrain and the normal ripple!
Nib Fine flexible #2 nib. It easily goes from fine to a wide broad. Not quite full flex. Please see writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The hard rubber is incredibly smooth to the touch. The color is slightly faded but still looks very nice. There is a bit of wear on the sides of the clip, and some brassing on the sides of the ball end. The edges of the lever box at the top have some plating wear, but the rest of the trim looks really nice. This pen writes smoothly with a good amount of flex. The imprints are very clear.
