Product Name Model 52 V (marked on the end of the pen barrel), the short version of the 52.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA - circa 1920s.
Length Just a hair under 4-3/8".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber with nickel plated trim.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal 14k nib is smooth with lovely tipping material. It's almost what we would call fully flexible, with easy line variation from fine to double broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The barrel and cap have faded to a dark brown, though the area underneath the cap retains its black color. The chasing pattern is strong. Both clip and lever box have some slight plating wear. There are some small marks near the end of the barrel near the imprint. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well.
