Filling System It is a lever filler. A new sac has been installed. It's fully restored and working well.
Color Bright orange red hard rubber called "Cardinal" by collectors. It has 18k gold filled trim including a clip and a 3/16" cap band.
Nib Fine flexible gold nib. The Waterman nib writes smoothly with good line variation. It's better than semi-flexible but doesn't offer drastic line variation. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. The ball end of the clip has a flat dent on the top of it. There is a little discoloration on the barrel beneath the cap area. There are a few marks on the barrel and the three imprints on the barrel are worn but still legible. No cracks or chips.
