Nib | The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal New York 4. It is nicely flexible with a good ink flow, not fully flexible or a wet noodle ... and a lot of tipping material. The nib is notably smooth and wet. The line varies from fine to broad. Writing sample below. |

Excellent condition. The hard rubber has lightened in spots (though our photo of the imprint was really over-exposed in order to show the worn imprint .. the color of the pen is darker than it appears in this close-up). The imprints are readable. The chasing is not exactly crisp, it's worn smooth. The trim is in good condition, with some wear. This pen writes very smoothly with a pleasing amount of flex. The filling system is working well, we re-sac'd it and we'll guarantee it for two years. |
