Type Vintage pen which works beautifully
Product Name Model 7, based off of the lack of colored disk at the end of the barrel we can identify this as the fourth version of the Model 7 and the second celluloid version.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1930s, the first celluloid version came out in 1929 and the second celluloid version ceased production in 1939.
Length 5-1/2", 6-3/4" posted.
Filling System Lever filler (We have replaced the bladder and it works very well.)
Color Black celluloid cap and barrel with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE gold Waterman's Ideal "Red" nib. It's in nice condition with good tipping, and feels smooth on paper. It's fully flexible, with easy line variation. See writing sample below. The "Red" nib was labeled originally as a standard nib of "medium length, medium point, and semiflexible."
Condition Excellent condition. The cap band is brassed and has a puncture mark. The edges of the clip and middle of the lever are lightly brassed. The pen has handwear and a few microscratches. The barrel imprints are clear. There are no cracks or chips though there is a little indentation on the steps at the top of the cap. The pen is restored and working well.
