Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Model 92V, a small sized model with a military clip. We're used to seeing 92Vs with different clips, so this might have been a special wartime version. It's not marked 92V, that's our guess as to the model.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in U.S.A. -- 1940s
Length 4-3/4 inches.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Green pearl colored cap and barrel with gold plated trim and a thin single cap band.
Nib MEDIUM Waterman Ideal 14k gold nib, fairly firm.
Condition Very nice condition except for small marks all over, especially on the cap. No cracks or personalization. The color is a very nice dark green marble, very even with no fading or discoloration. There is some wear on the trim, but only a bit of brassing on the top rivet. The end of the lever is broken off, but we've smoothed that edge and left a tiny lip for catching and raising the lever. Some small scratches on the cap and barrel. The imprints are clear and readable. The pen has been fully restored and it's working well.
