Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen.
Product Name Model 92V
Manufacturer and Year Waterman - 1930s
Length 4-1/4"
Filling System Lever filler (We've replaced the bladder and it's working very well).
Color Red marble, though the color has faded slightly in some places, while it's more like a rose in others. Gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM flexible nib is marked Waterman's 2 with a heart shaped cutout. It flexes from medium to double broad with a little pressure, with good ink flowand and a nice amount of tipping material. See writing sample below.
Condition Very nice used condition. There's some lesser scratching on the cap and barrel, and as mentioned above it's a little discolored. The light plating on the trim is a bit dull, but there's not much real wear, just a little on the tip of the clip, and the lever box. There are a couple of small scratches on the section and on the feed, though they don't affect it's writing. No cracks or chips, though it looks like the cap lip could be brittle, so we don't recomend posting this pen. It's still quite a pretty piece, working very well.
