Product Description
Type Vintage pen with a beautiful flexible nib
Product Name Model 94 (it's marked on the end of the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, Made in USA - circa 1930s
Length 5"
Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the bladder and it works very well.
Color Mahogany - reddish brown marbled finish with white veins. Gold plated trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE Waterman's Ideal New York #4 nib. It's in nice condition, smooth, with good tipping, though there is a little dot of pitting in the tipping (see photos). This pitting is not in a place that touches the page, and thus does not affect the pen's writing. Almost fully flexible, with line variation from extra fine to double broad with just a little pressure. Excellent hairlines and spring-back. See writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. There are just tiny spots where the plating is barely starting to wear on the edge of the clip and lever, no real brassing visible. A little microscratching in the barrel and cap. No chips, cracks, deep scratches, or personalization. All the imprints are very readable. Restored and working very well.
