It's a bit of a problem trying to fill these pens because it's hard to find a refill that works. We know the Must De Cartier refills work, but the newer Cartiers do not. |
| Color | "Grain d'Orge," a fine barleycorn pattern, but we're not sure of the original finish. It's silver with a gold tinge, so it might have originally been vermeil and the gold plating over the sterling has worn off. (We can't decipher the hallmarks.) |
| Condition | Used condition. A substantial amount of the clip is worn to brass, and there is some tarnish on its body as well, though the photos add a lot of contrast to the body. No serious marks, dents or scratches. |
