Filling System It's a bit of a challenge to find a refill that works, since Waterman no longer makes these refills. We know the Must De Cartier refills work, and we have installed a new refill in this pen. (The newer Cartiers are Parker compatible and those refills do not fit these old Watermans.) We also found this source in the UK which has compatible refills. We will include a good working refill installed in the pen.
Color Barleycorn design in silver. Gold clip. The trim ring is imprinted "Waterman Argent Massif/Made in France". The crab hallmark makes us think it might be solid sterling silver, but the super shiny and untarnished finish looks more like coated silverplate or another silver colored metal.
Condition The pen is in mint condition, except for the very tip which has some scratch marks.
