Product Description
Type Cartridge/Converter Fountain Pen
Product Name Waterman CF (CF stands for cartridge filler). There is a serial number on the section: N37441
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- 1950s.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. This pen has a hard-to-find squeeze converter installed (we don't guarantee it will last beyond our 30 days guarantee period).
Color Black barrel and section with silver plated lined cap, with gold plated trim. Parker called this combination "Flighter," and we apply to it other brands as well
Nib FINE inlaid 18k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny pen with a beautiful silver plated lined cap with a slanted top piece. The barrel has moderate to some heavy scratching. The section looks good with some microscratching on the long silver sides. The cap is pretty and shiny. It has some small black dots of tarnish here and there and a few obvious scratches to the left of the middle of the clip. The smooth silver cap band looks great with just some microscratching. The clip looks excellent with very light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
