Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen
Product Name CF for "cartridge filler"
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France, 1950s
Length 5-3/8" long.
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. We will include a used cartridge with the pen which can be refilled via syringe, and we will also include a syringe.
Color Shiny steel cap, gold plated trim (including clip), black body. The section is grey with shiny steel highlights.
Nib FINE 14k nib.
Condition Excellent condition for this slim, nice looking pen, in a pleasant color combination. The barrel has light to moderate scratching that dulls the surface somewhat. The cap has moderate scratching. The section has what appears to be one hairline crack on the side where the feed is located, right below the feed, which is very common with these light colored CF sections (we guarantee the filling system to be free from leaks for a year from the date of purchase). There are no ink stains on it, so it may be merely a scratch and not a crack. The clip has some brassing and lots of little dents on the face. The imprints are clear.
