Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen
Product Name CF for "cartridge filler"
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France, 1950s
Length 5-3/8" long.
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. We will include a used cartridge with the pen which can be refilled via syringe, and we will also include a syringe.
Color Shiny steel cap, gold plated trim (including clip), black body. The section is grey with shiny steel highlights.
Nib FINE 14k nib.
Condition Very nice condition for this slim, nice looking pen, in a pleasant color combination. The barrel has moderate scratching that dulls the surface somewhat. The cap looks excellent. The section has what appear to be three hairline cracks on the side where the feed is located, very common with these light colored CF sections (we guarantee the filling system to be free from leaks for a year from the date of purchase). The clip has some light plating wear and it sits slightly awry on its mount. The imprints are clear.
