Product Description
Type Cartridge/Converter Fountain Pen
Product Name Waterman CF (CF stands for cartridge filler)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1950s.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. Towards that end, we will provide the buyer with a dry Waterman CF cartridge which can be refilled.
Color Stainless steel barrel and cap, with gold plated trim. Parker called this combination "Flighter," and we apply to it other brands as well
Nib Inlaid 18k nib. It's a nib with an interesting shape and writes smoothly. It looks like a medium.
Condition Excellent condition. There's a few shiny spots in the finish and one trio of pitting marks on the barrel, photographed below. In hand it looks very good with clear imprints. The plating on the clip is quite good with hardly any wear, which is nice to see because the plating is usually rather worn on the CFs.
