Product Description
Type Cartridge filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name CF for "cartridge filler."
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in France -- 1950s.
Length 5-5/16 inches.
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. Towards that end, we will provide the buyer with one new unused Waterman CF cartridge. The ink may be dried up, but the cartridge can be refilled.
Color Gold plated barrel and cap in a tight pattern of fine lines. Gold plated trim and a black and gold section. The cap band is marked "Plaque OR G."
Nib FINE semi-hooded 18k gold nib is smooth and firm with lovely tipping material.
Condition Excellent near mint condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, or plating wear. The barrel and cap show just the slightest handwear but no platign wear. The section has minor microscratches. The gold plated inset in the section is lovely, hardly any wear at all is present on it.
