Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Waterman C/F Pen. The C/F stands for "cartridge filler."
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in England -- 1950s.
Length 5-5/16" long
Filling System Cartridge/converter. One of the hard to find converters is installed in the pen, but we don't know if you'll be able to find a replacement if this one ever gives out. The challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and inconsistently available. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe.
Color Teal body with a gold plated smooth cap. There is also a partial gold overlay on the section, which is marked 9KT.
Nib FINE 14k nib is smooth and slightly springy, verging on the medium.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen has light handwear and microscratching. There is some excess glue on the nib where it fits into the section, which is very typical of this model. The gold barrel finial has some brassing on the edges. The cap looks great with no dents. No personalization or major wear. Ships with a Waterman CF converter.
