Product Description
Type Cartridge fill fountain pen and matching "Fluid Lead" pencil
Product Name CF for "cartridge filler"
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France, 1950s
Length 5-5/16" (the ballpoint is a little shorter)
Filling System Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and are close to impossible to find. We have a small supply of converters and will include one with this pen. (To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe)
The "Fluid Lead" pencil is similarly handicapped by requiring a no longer made style of refill. The good news is that the Must de Cartier ballpoint is suppposed to fit and will convert it to a ballpoint. It has to be the Must de Cartier, not another Cartier style, the kind with the slightly flared open top.
Color Brushed steel caps, gold plated trim, bodies a reddish brown color, pale grey section.
Nib 14k nib is unmarked as to size, but we think it is medium.
Condition Just about perfect! No dents or scratches. Very shiny. The nib is in excellent condition. There's a little staining on the section, not much.
