Filling System Cartridge/converter. Here's the challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and inconsistently available. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. We have located one of the hard to find converters and will install it in the pen, but we don't know if you'll be able to find a replacement if this one ever gives out. The ballpoint pen refills can be hard to find as Watermasn no longer makes them, however older style Must De Cartier refills will work and can occassionally be found online.
Color Red lacquer barrel and cap with gold plated trim.
Nib 18k nib is unlabeled but looks like a medium. It is not particularly springy. It is in nice condition with lots of tipping material. There is a little bit of pitting on the edges of the nib but this won't affect writing.
Condition Very nice condition. The ballpoint pen has some plating wear on the bands between the cap and barrel and also has a scratch on the cone. The fountain pen has some lacquer scratched off to show the brass beneath at the end of the barrel. There also is just the slightest amount of plating wear on the edges of the design on the section. No chips or cracks, with clear imprints on the trim. They're working very well.
