Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Waterman C/F Pen. The C/F stands for "cartridge filler."
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in England -- 1950s.
Length 5-7/16" long
Filling System Cartridge/converter. The challenge with Waterman CFs: the cartridges and converters are no longer made and inconsistently available. To use these pens, most modern day owners resort to refilling the cartridges with a syringe. We will ship a sealed (but dried out) cartridge and a syringe kit with this pen.
Color Teal body with a gold plated smooth cap. The section is a light pink/beige color with long gold pieces reaching down from either side of the nib.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 14k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a slim pen in a great 1950s design and in a lovely color combination. The barrel has light scratching. The cap has light to moderate microscratching. The pinkish-grey section looks nice and the gold pieces that come down from the nib and reach to the top of the barrel have only moderate microscratching and plating wear along the top edges near the nib (much better than we usually see). The imprints are clear.
